Ted Howe began his jazz teaching career in Boston, MA at the renowned Berklee College Of Music. During his tenure at Berklee, Ted not only taught jazz piano, but was also a professor of jazz theory, jazz arranging, and jazz improvisation all before he was 25.
Upon his move to Atlanta, GA, Ted began teaching at GA State University where he assisted in setting up the first jazz program ever offered in their School Of Music.
Because of his growing reputation as a sought after jazz piano teacher, Ted decided to leave academia and established his own private teaching studio in Atlanta, The Ted Howe Jazz Studio.
Ted is now based in Los Angeles and is accepting a limited amount of students for online private instruction in jazz piano, harmony, improvisation and arranging.
